About the Voelckers
 

Minnie Alma Tomerlin Voelcker was born at her parents’ homestead on Coker Lane, San Antonio, Texas on December 3, 1905. She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, where she met and married her husband, Max H. Voelcker. Together, they acquired and operated a successful dairy farm for many years. Mrs. Voelcker and her husband worked hard in every operation of the dairy–administering to the livestock, operating milking equipment, overseeing employees, and delivering milk to market. Max H. Voelcker died on August 7, 1980. Minnie Alma Tomerlin Voelcker continued to live in the home that Max had built for her up until her death on December 6, 2000.
